Technology plays a vital role within Arris Contracting. It is amazing to think how far technology has taken the industry. Technology has propelled efficiency in this industry to a new level. ACCI utilizes the industries best application systems, and we are not ones to "jump on the band wagons". In fact, most of the industry's best application systems have been utilized by Arris Contracting since its inception. take a look at some of the application that ACCI has adopted.
Primavera Project Management (P6)
Primavera P6 Professional Project Management gives today's project managers and schedulers the one thing they value most, control. Autodesk Revit and BIM:
Our next powerful tool in our arsenal is Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM allows us to make more informed decisions with information-rich models to support sustainable design, construction planning, and fabrication.
We have adopted applications such as Autodesk Revit, which helps capture and analyze concepts and maintain the architects vision through design, documentation, and construction. Again it allows us to make more informed decisions to put your project on the fast track.
Autodesk Navisworks and BIM:
Our next powerful tool in our BIM arsenal is Autodesk Navisworks, which enables us to simulate a project review and whole-project analysis. This will allow us to optimize scheduling and identify and coordinate clashes and interferences, collaborate with project team, and gain insight into potential problems before construction begins.
Sage Timberline Office Estimating
With Timberline Estimating ACCI is able to automate and streamline the estimating process, ensuring that every detail is accounted for and that cost projections are accurate. Our Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is able to reduce time allocated to Quantity Takeoff and spend more time analyzing and fine tuning estimates.
On-screen Takeoff/ Autodesk Quantity Takeoff:
ACCI is built on efficiency and that is incorporated in the applications we utilize. OST(2D)/ QTO(3D/BIM) makes costing material faster, easier, and more accurate. What is great about these applications is that they integrate with Timberline Estimating and also our Autodesk Suite to turn out Estimates in Hours rather then days or weeks using old school digitizers and make informed decisions about a project.
Siteworx/OS
Dealing with site topography can be very challenging. Years of experience can aid you through your challenges however using Siteworx/OS will make this process even easier. With Siteworx/OS we are able to digitize drawings eliminating the need for paper drawings providing more accurate cost for your project.
Why so many Applications ?
We could go on and provide you an extensive list of every application system we use, but we won't. We invest in the best applications so we can focus on the important aspects of your project. We specifically chose these applications because they literally integrate with one another. These integrations allow us to input data once and in return provide clients with accurate information needed to make informed decisions. The level of efficiency these systems provide allow us to get a jumpstart on your project while providing cost savings.
Arris Contracting was recently in the news for a job well done as the Construction Manager for the Yorktown School District. Thus far this has been a successful project for Arris Contracting. Resourceful management of this project along with a favorable market has provided the district with the means to get more for the same bond value. Recent work completed include installations of a state of the art security and communication systems, natatorium upgrades, auditorium renovations, track replacement and many other district wide renovations some of which occurs during the school year. All of the work must be completed according to the districts schedule so as to not disrupt classroom learning or other school activities. Thanks to our exemplary staff including our Senior Project Manager, John Patrick Jackson, that task has been made possible. Dennis Verboys, Director of Operations and Maintenance for the Yorktown Central School District stated "in the midst of all these big projects that go on throughout the summer, its imperative to have everything done on time and on schedule". A big challenge was making sure that all work was completed before the school year began. As with many school districts in the area, Hurricane Irene caused delays in construction at YCSD just as the school district was preparing for the new school year to begin. Verboys thanked John Patrick Jackson by saying he was the person "who made sure things were done right, and right on schedule".

Yorktown Central School District Board of education Meeting 12-19-2011
John Sharkey - Rhinebeck Architecture and Planning PC
Principal Architect
"One major benefit I see in using Arris Contracting is that they have the experience on both sides on the construction industry. Being a construction Manager as well as a General Contractor, they can draw on both and this gives them the advantage of knowing how projects really go together and what the real costs are."
Einhorn Yaffee Prescott & Scott J. Paske - EYP
Architecture & Engineering Principal
"Having worked in this profession for more then 30 years, it is becoming less and less common to encounter a firm that works as well and diligently as Arris does. You have a professional and experienced team that works well, with owners, contractors, and designers. Arris knows how to get quality done, achieving goals, within budget, and not wasting time with any blame games."
Armand S. Quadrini - KSQ
Principal
"The firm's on-site construction supervision, document-control and cost-control methods are among the best that we have ever worked with. Prime contractors are held in strict compliance with their contract. Change orders are negotiated in a tough and fair manner. Arris "standard" construction phase services exceed all of the other that we have worked with."
