Project: Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union Branch locations

Arris Contracting Company, Inc. was the proud General Contractor to provide the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union with new branches in Orange, Dutchess, and in Ulster County.
Project: Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union Middletown Branch
Completion Date: 2007

The project included a fit up with in a new shell building to provide the HVFCU with their first branch location in Orange County, NY. Special coordination was required between the building developer, the HVFCU, Vendors and ACCI. The 6790 SF branch was constructed through the winter months and was successfully opened in early spring.
Project: Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union Operations Center

The project included a 55,000 SF renovation to the first floor of an existing 2 story building. The renovated space included a completely new operations center for the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. ACCI was instrumental in completing the space to allow for owner occupancy. Some of the highlighted spaces included general service offices, state of the art computer / data room, training facilities, offices, conference rooms, break room and bathrooms.
The overall success of the project was contributed to the close coordination between all parties involved and ultimately meeting the owners goals and needs.
Project: Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union Beacon Branch
Arris Contracting Company, Inc. was the proud General Contractor to provide the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union with a new Branch in Beacon, NY. This attractive branch is a different and unique design from an exterior point of view compared to many of HVFCU Branches. The project included 4100 SF of renovations to an existing Auction House on Main street in downtown Beacon NY. The space was converted to a new Credit Union branch. The existing space was completely demolished including ceilings, walls, flooring and all mechanical systems. Close coordination with the city of Beacon was required to allow pedestrian access around the front of the building. Limited access through the rear of the building and a 3 month completion schedule were definitive obstacles. ACCI was up to the challenge and completed the project on time and with the highest quality.
The renovation work to transform the space into a new branch location included exterior improvements on the Main street side and rear of the building, new complete teller line, back offices, rest rooms, conference room, FSR and common space.

A unique and eclectic mixture of San Francisco style and Mexican food was added to the New Paltz area. Arris Contracting Company, Inc. was the General Contractor to assist the Manhattan based restaurant. Construction included a 3,000 square foot Summer renovation to an existing building storefront which included offices, restrooms, a full commercial kitchen / prep and walk-in coolers, dining area and bar. Close coordination with the owners vendors and the ACCI team was required.

This restaurant project consisted of the gut renovation of two existing structures along with a new kitchen addition and an infill addition connecting the two existing structures.
Extensive site work to facilitate new parking, the new building footprint and a terrace dining area.
Some other elements included are custom extensive stone work matching existing and interior architectural details including vaulted ceilings, ceramic and stone tile work to create a quant feeling for a high end specialty restaurant.
Project Name:Samuel Dorskey Museum of Art

The Samuel Dorskey Museum of Art is a high end art gallery addition to the existing Smiley Art Building at the SUNY New Paltz campus.
Arris Contracting was the single prime, general contractor on this very visible and complex project that included a casson foundation system, high tech environmental mechanical systems, custom lighting design, and simple but intricate finishes.
Project: Hasbrouck Dining Hall

Complete renovation of the main campus dining facility. All work was completed during the Summer 2003 break.
The project included extensive mechanical, plumbing, and electrical modifications, along with custom casework items, food service equipment and finishes.
The project created a unique market place environment which is user friendly and inviting.
Project Name:Highland High School Additions/Renovations
New Library Media Center

Arris Contracting Co., Inc. was the General Construction Trade Contractor on the project for the Highland Central School District. The project consisted of additions and renovations to the Highland High School which included the infill of an existing open courtyard to create a new media center and upgrades to the existing gym and auditorium.
Project Name:New Paltz High School Additions & Renovations

Arris Contracting was the General Trades Contractor for the New Paltz Central School District High School construction project. The project consisted of interior renovations to the school including kitchen, cafeteria and auditorium.
Additions to the school provided a new science wing, BOCES wing and practice gym. Construction of the BOCES wing and practice gym was completed three months ahead of schedule. A 6,000 square foot courtyard was also incorporated into the project.

Project Name:Rombout Middle School Additions & Alterations
Project Value:$4.6 Million

Arris Contracting Co., Inc. was the General Construction Trade Contractor on the Rombout Middle School Addition and Alteration Project for the Beacon City School District.
This project consisted of extensive interior renovations that included new Administration offices and the cafeteria renovation and expansion.
There was a 22,000 square foot addition that required caisson foundation work and an extensive grade beam design due to poor soil conditions.
The addition included a new main entry leading into a welcoming two story rotunda used for student gatherings and displays. It was also comprised of a new Library, Computer Lab, Teachers Learning and Conference Center and a new Music area.
The project had provisions for sitework and drainage improvements, along with parking expansion.
This project was completed for owner occupancy for the start of the September 2006 school year as scheduled.
Project Name:District Wide Additions & Renovations

This project consisted of additions to the High School / Jr. High School. District wide renovations included window / door replacements, casework, and elevator installations.
As General Construction Work Prime Contractor, Arris Contracting Company, Inc. self performed all excavation, concrete, carpentry items, ceiling work and specialties.
Work completed by Subcontractors included: steel, elevators, flooring, doors & window, masonry, EIFS, paint, casework, food service equipment and partitions.
Project was completed on schedule in August 2008.

Arris Contracting Co., Inc. is the proud General Contractor for the Ulster County Community Action Committee to construct their new 22,000 square foot, 2 story facility in Kingston, New York. The facility consists of 10 classrooms, parenting training and multipurpose rooms, a commercial kitchen and offices.
The exterior of the building includes over 5,000 square feet of playground space, a loading dock and parking to accommodate 50+ cars.

This was a Design Build project that was created for Richard and Sandy Timmons of Garrison, NY to house their long established child daycare business.
This project, located in the village of Cold Spring, required a multiple of permits and architectural reviews due to the historic nature of the village.
Project: Neugarten Birthing Center

Designed to make patients feel at home, this hospital addition allows much of the comforts of a home birth while maintaining the safety of being inside a modern medical facility.
With a home-like entrance and waiting area, large comfortable birthing rooms and specialized facilities like the birthing tub room, Arris Contracting Company, Inc. surpassed both the institutional and aesthetic requirements for an excellent health center.
Arris Contracting Company, Inc. was awarded the 2001-2002 Vista Award for this project, presented by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.
Project: Diagnostic Center MRI Addition

Arris Contracting Company, Inc. has been involved with numerous projects for the Kingston Hospital and was again selected for the new 5,000 square foot Diagnostic Center, which included a state of the art MRI installation.
Arris Contracting worked closely with the Radiology Department and the MRI equipment vendor to ensure a meticulous coordinated project. The team set forth a demanding schedule; all requirements and parameters were far exceeded.
The project featured various MRI control, support and equipment rooms, a glass block rotunda waiting room and a central nurse / reception station with computer-integrated casework.
Due to the advancements of technology, the MRI suite rear wall was designed and constructed to be fully accessible. This allows for the ease of installation of new equipment. Arris Contracting has twice been involved with this very installation of superior equipment. A quick and properly coordinated turnover was required due to the importance of this room.
Project: Greene County Courthouse

Arris Contracting Co., Inc. was the General Construction Trade Contractor for this 5.5 million dollar addition / renovation & restoration project to the historic Greene County Courthouse located on Main St. in Catskill, NY.
The Greene County Courthouse, originally constructed in 1908, realized as part of this distinguished project the following elements:
•Exterior façade stone work restoration and cleaning
•New main exterior stairway and refurbished brass handrails
•New energy efficient custom windows
•ADA upgrades including an elevator addition
•Interior plaster repairs & restoration
•Main interior staircase restoration and lower level reconfiguration

•New entry ways for easier public access and secure prisoner admission

Project: Town Hall & Police and Courts

Arris Contracting Company, Inc. was the General Trades Contractors on the successful interior renovation to 40,000 square feet of office space for the Town of Wallkill.
Renovations included a new police station, courtroom, and holding cells, and complete Town Hall offices.
ACCI provided a smooth transition for town officials and employees.
ACCI has assisted the Rocking Horse Ranch in Highland with planning and construction services for more than 10 years.
Notable projects include:
Renovation of a pole barn into a "Wild West" period day care cneter.
Design & installation of Giant Water Slide pool attractions.
Design & Construction of Winter Fun Park ski slope with lifts.
Project Name:IBM Road Plaza
Architect:Cummings Engineering
Arris Contracting was the design-build contractor for this 10,000 square foot commercial plaza. The initial design was given to us by the client and engineer. Through value engineering and design development Arris was able to give the client what they originally wanted for half of the anticipated cost.
Arris was also contracted to fit out a commercial restaurant which included a commercial kitchen, restrooms, basement, and 70+ person dining room.

West Wing: 3,600 sf interior renovation of an existing living facility which included a new dining room, library, offices, ADA accessible bathrooms, and corridors.
Infirmary: 6,000 sf interior renovation of an existing infirmary which included 12 new patient rooms, nurses suite, physical therapy room, dining room, kitchen, chapel, and sitting room.
Exterior / Sitework: New features included a 4 car carport, 2 new ADA accessible ramps, new paving, and landscaping.
