Arris Contracting Company, Inc. (ACCI) worked on pre-referendum services for the $153.4 million capital construction project which was rejected by voters. In November of 2016 the program was revised when the district passed a $46.9 million referendum.

The 3-year project included a new multi-purpose turf field, 6-lane track and softball field at the LMK Middle School, a guidance and 8-classroom addition at the high school, renovations and additions to the Harrison Avenue School including a new cafeteria along with a 4-classroom addition. Sitework at the Parsons Elementary School cafeteria, kitchen, and classroom addition. LMK Middle School project included a full façade and roof replacement, and cafeteria addition.

 

Additionally, ACCI has successfully completed, as the district’s Construction Manager, numerous projects such as auditorium reconstruction, science room reconstruction, bleacher construction, as well as conducting an energy performance survey for additional upgrades leading toward the district achieving energy star rated buildings.
