Vassar College and ACCI worked together on coordinating and implementing a plan to renovate their existing College Services, Coffee Kiosk and College Lounge over the winter break. The team worked successfully in preplanning materials, tradesman and scheduling.

 

The College Services included removals or existing walls, flooring and partitions, concrete floor grinding, new metal ceiling panels, LED lighting, multiplex desks and furniture along with 9'x8' sliding multiplex doors.

 

The Coffee Kiosk included absorbing additional space behind the existing Kiosk giving the ability to service more customers. It also included new kitchen sinks, tables and resurfacing of the front facade.

 

The Student Lounge included 5000 sf demolition, floor grinding, a unique use of multiplex plywood and metal ceiling system accented by axium metal systems. A full LED lighting package, glass mirrored walls and vibrant furniture to finish the space.

 

The team worked efficiently to avoid delays due to found asbestos and relocation of piping.
