Arris Contracting Corporation, Inc. (Arris) completed this $21 million expansion project for the Webutuck Central School District located in the northeastern part of Dutchess County, New York.

 

Arris provided successful pre-referendum services for the project and was instrumental in the favorable bond vote.

 

The project consisted of a new 50,000 sf middle school addition to the existing high school building, and renovations and additions to the District’s other 3 school buildings. In addition to the building projects there was a second proposition that passed for $1.45 million to upgrade existing fields and create new athletic fields and tennis courts.

 

Although the project was scheduled for a December completion, Arris was able to provide the District with full occupancy for the September opening three months ahead of schedule with a $2 million budget surplus.
